About Ashley Centre
Ashley Centre was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in October 1984. The centre’s developers were originally tasked with creating a modern and exciting shopping environment, which merged with the historic fabric of Epsom.
In 2023, the owners further invested in an internal refurbishment of the shopping centre, which introduced new interior finishes and lighting to the malls, as well as the modernising of the Main East mall entrance exterior façade. The shopping centre was also rebranded to ‘Ashley Centre Epsom’, this included a redesigned logo, new external signage, the introduction of advertising digital totem screens and new internal wayfinding signage. The architects remodelled several units in the centre offering bigger stores to new exciting brands which include a 44,000ft Primark store opening in the first quarter of 2025 and many more who will be trading before Christmas 2024.
After 40 years of successful trading, Ashley Centre continues to be the heart of Epsom, offering shoppers a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience in a friendly, clean, and secure environment, whilst allowing you to explore the variety of stores in their recently refurbished surroundings.
The centre now provides the main shopping destination in Epsom and is anchored by Marks & Spencer and Waitrose, alongside a host of other strong brands such as JD Sports, Sports Direct, Deichmann, Next and Boots. The food and beverage offering includes Gail’s Bakery, Pret-a-Manger, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Organico, Muffin Break, M&S Café, Café Moka, and Bamboo Basket.
Accessing the centre is easy via car, bus, or train. Conveniently, the council-run carpark is located adjacent to the shopping centre and offers 800 parking spaces.
