This year, The Ashley Centre’s Kids Club brought creativity, and community spirit to young families in Epsom. Each month, children got hands-on with a variety of activities that combined fun with learning. Here’s a look back at some of the memorable workshops:
14th July: Mini Flags for the Euros and Olympics
Kicking off in July, our young attendees got into the global spirit with a flag-making workshop! With the Euros and Olympics in full swing, children created mini flags to support their favourite teams.

11th August: Create Your Own Olympic Medals
In August, kids became little champions by crafting their very own medals! Gold, silver, and bronze medals were decorated with glitter and embellishments, adding extra sparkle to their creations. This workshop was a wonderful way for kids to embrace the Olympic spirit and feel like winners.
8th September: Upcycled Tin Can Pencil Holders
As the new school term approached, the September workshop focused on back-to-school prep with an eco-friendly twist. Kids learned the value of upcycling by turning tin cans into charming pen and pencil holders. These one-of-a-kind creations helped inspire them for the school year ahead and brought out their resourcefulness.
13th October: Woodland Animal Wind Chimes
With autumn arriving, October’s workshop celebrated the season with a touch of nature. Children assembled and decorated wooden wind chimes in the shapes of woodland animals, adding a magical autumnal vibe. These wind chimes brought joy and introduced little ones to the wonders of the natural world.
Each Kids Club event was a chance for children to unleash their creativity, learn new skills, and make friends.
